According to Adrian Wojnarowski the Utah Jazz have filled the vacancy left by Johnnie Bryant with Dell Demps and Keyon Dooling.
Former New Orleans Pelicans general manager Dell Demps has agreed to join the Utah Jazz as an assistant coach, reuniting with Quin Snyder, sources tell ESPN.

Demps will be switching roles to be a coach instead of a GM. In New Orleans Demps made a lot of headline moves but with up and down results. Demps was the one who signed Omer Asik to a 5-year deal and was the GM who had initiated the infamous Chris Paul to the Lakers trade nixed by David Stern.
As up and down as those moves were, Demps also made the trade for Demarcus Cousins that seemed to be the thing that would power the Pelicans over the hump until Cousins blew out his ACL. He also traded for Jrue Holiday who has been a cornerstone of that franchise for years.
Demps will now be leaving the GM role behind to join a Jazz coaching staff he’s already familiar with.
Demps has a relationship with Quin Snyder that goes back to working together in San Antonio when Snyder was coaching the Austin Toros.
The Jazz are also hiring Keyon Dooling in a player development role. Dooling played for multiple years in the NBA and has a relationship with Coach Snyder when he played for Snyder at the University of Missouri.
