It looks like the Utah Jazz team charter had a scary incident when it hit a flock of birds and had to be re-routed back to Salt Lake City.
.@fox13 has learned that members of the @utahjazz are on a plane that had to be re-routed to the @slcairport.— (@brian_schnee) March 30, 2021
Per @flightaware the plane was headed to Memphis when it was diverted back to SLC. The plane took off around 1:15 and landed back down at 1:40 p.m.
It appears that the plane took off and then very soon after had to be re-routed back. Here is an animation of the flight path.

The images after the plane landed are scary and show what had to be a pretty harrowing experience for everyone on board.
