With the fourth pick of the 2015 NBA Draft . . . the Los Angeles Lakers select D'Angelo Russell from the Ohio State University. I am racist against Ohio as a voluntary Michigander, but this kid is going to be good. And the Lakers really need point guard help after suffering through the Steve Nash / Jeremy Lin / Ronnie Price / Jordan Clarkson season they just had. Clarkson is young and talented, but he's not as good as Russell. LA craves star power and I think Russell can be one. Also, a key, Russell is more of a traditional point guard who can penetrate, pass, but most importantly in any Kobe Bryant system, stand outside the three point line and spot up waiting for any hypothetical or theoretical or rhetorical passes that may come his way. He has offensive skills to be a combo guard, but he's not the physical beast that Mudiay is. And I think this is a better fit for LA anyway.
