With the 20th pick of the 2015 NBA Draft . . . the Toronto Raptors select Tyus Jones from Duke University. After what we all saw in the NBA Playoffs it's clear that the Toronto Raptors need some help. And in the case where Kyle Lowry can't get it done, and Greivis Vasquez can only shimmy, some help at point guard is needed. Now, yes, it's true - the Raptors need help elsewhere and Masai Ujiri may just do the smart thing and go for best player available. At this stage of the 1st round it's hard to figure out who that guy is. Also, in general, it's hard to figure out the Raptors who drafted #20 last year and took Bruno Caboclo. This year I have them taking Tyus Jones, and much better known product. He is excellent as a point guard, with great passing ability and the court vision of a Duke product. He's not the quickest guy in the world, but Lowry knows how to be a solid pro without the physical tools. This is a good fit, and you could argue, also the best player available.
