What for? Apparently to move back to #40 and two future 2nd round picks.
Grizzlies are sending Jazz pick No. 40 and two future seconds, per source.

We are yet to see if this also includes some sort of salary dump. There have bee lots of rumors of the Jazz looking to trade Derrick Favors to offload salary. This trade does not appear to do that. Will this be the first domino of other moves? We’ll see.
It is hard to not be disappointed to some extent. There were nice players on the board at #30 with what is looking like a very deep draft. Utah may just be looking at a player they like at #40 and if that player falls while the Jazz also get more seconds, that’s a big win. We’ll see what happens as the night plays out.
