Folks, we have another #WojBomb:
Free agent George Hill and reps are meeting with the Lakers today in Los Angeles, discussing a one-year deal, league sources tell ESPN.

We all know that George Hill is almost certainly not going to play for the Utah Jazz this season. With starting point guard spots (including the one in Utah) disappearing faster than Enes Kanter on defense, Hill and his agent are desperate for options. It appears that they’ve found one in George, whom they hope can show rookie ball-handler Lonzo Ball the ropes for a year.
I liked watching Mr. Hill play ball here. I really did. However, he never seemed to want it quite as much as Rudy Gobert, Gordon Hayward, Joe Ingles, or even Shelvin Mack. He was here to get paid, and hopefully get paid even more later. Ironically, he’ll probably end up taking less money to be a Laker.
I can’t help the feeling of apathy I have over this. Well, mostly apathy. Any time the Lakers get better I become a little annoyed.
Nothing is set at the moment, but we will keep you informed as the situation unfolds.
