It’s official.
The Utah Jazz will face off against the Houston Rockets. Just 15 minutes ago it looked like a karma dream scenario would occur with the Portland Trail Blazers losing to the Sacramento Kings and the Denver Nuggets inexplicably losing at home to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Then lottery teams did what lottery teams do best: they collapsed. They both folded like a cheap lawn chair.
The Utah Jazz now will face the Houston Rockets with whom they are 2-2 against. Denver’s twisted plan to get Utah and Houston to play each other in a cage match to the death worked. Denver will now play the San Antonio Spurs. The Portland Trail Blazers will play the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Boo.
