The Sacramento Kings (8-14) aren’t winning a lot of games this year, but they have won games in this arena over the last little while. The Utah Jazz (14-10) got a reminder early on as Sactown went on a 11-0 run to take control of this game. The Jazz fought back on a 29-14 run to take the lead after one. The two teams trade body blows in the second and it’s a 52-50 lead for the good guys after 24 minutes.
Rudy Gobert had 11, 6, and 5 so far. Gordon Hayward isn’t shooting well, but he has 9, 5, 2, 1. But this team is going to need a lot more than just two guys if they are going to win this one. Someone stepping up? Raul Neto who has 6 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal.
The Kings are, as always, led by Rudy Gay and DeMarcus Cousins. Omri Casspi off the bench is having a nice game as well. It’s going to be a fun second half.
