The Utah Jazz will play only seven preseason games this year, but two of them are in Hawaii -- which is more interesting than their normal stops to play preseason games in some remote border town in Idaho or something. No offense to Idaho, but I think even Idahoans wouldn't say "no" to a week in Hawaii. But anyway, let's get back to the Jazz. The Jazz play seven preseason games, four on the road and three at home. And you will be able to watch five of them on TV! WOO! So we've waited long to see Gordon Hayward, Derrick Favors, Rudy Gobert, Alec Burks, Trey Burke, Rodney Hood, Trevor Booker, Trey Lyles and company . . . and the long wait is going to be over tonight! Interestingly, there's a big gap of a few days where I suspect many of the cuts will take place. (The team is carrying 20 players, and need to say goodbye to at least five of them.) Tonight's game starts at 7:00 PM Mountain time, but the full preseason schedule is as follows:

While we know that the Lakers suck, it's nice to know that if not for them, our guys wouldn't have gotten to #JazzAloha this year. So, thank you Lakers, I guess? The Jazz do then play three road games to start the season off at the end of October too -- so I'e listed them as well.
