The Score recently analyzed geotagged Twitter data to see every state’s favorite to win the NBA title this year. The results are not ok.
It looks like we may have found the source for Donovan Mitchell’s charisma, persona, and thoughtfulness.
Donovan Mitchell’s mom is so kind. Me being a crazy jazz fan saw her BUYING jazz gear and yelled omg it’s Donny’s mom. She was so polite and nice. So willing to take a quick picture with my kids. @spidadmitchell If you see just know that this was awesome. You guys ARE AMAZING. pic.twitter.com/IHdoVG7LI1— Josh Hallows (@hallows_josh) December 30, 2018
What a cool little story and fun moment for some young Jazz fans. I love seeing stuff like this and don’t think I would always respond as politely. Thanks to Mitchell’s mom for raising such a great kid!
One Fan Post to highlight from this week. BellFrazierRookies believes that the Jazz need to trade for a real quality point guard now:
Package Rubio, Thebolosha, Favors for a better point guard and a decent Power forward. throw in a 1st round pick if need be...
Andrei Kirilenko is criminally underrated in my opinion. He wasn’t a big time scorer, but that guy could absolutely fill the stat sheet. He was about 10 years too early, as his game in today’s NBA would be dreamy.
Imagine this guy playing power forward next to Rudy Gobert right now. Would anyone even score? Also, I’ve said this several times before but I’m going to say it again: the Utah Jazz need to have some sort of Ring of Honor. I’m not necessarily saying AK47 should get his number retired, but he should have some sort of recognition as an all-time great player for the Jazz.
Happy New Years everyone!! 2018 is in the books and 2019 is underway. There’s a lot of great content on the Dunk today, so be sure to check it all out. In the comments section, I’d love to hear your highest resolution you’d like to see out of the Jazz this year.
Mine? My dream resolution would be getting a third star next to Donovan and Rudy.
