A look back at the Utah Jazz in the NBA Finals, checking in with our guys, great deals on summer league games, naming Neto's band . . . and some of the worst (and one great) Andrei Kirilenko video.
.
The NBA Finals start tonight, and we did a whole Downbeat just on that. So you can check that out there. The Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors will be fighting for that one thing Utah Jazz fans haven't seen up close and personal for 18 years. But, please, take a trip down memory lane to our collective glory days.
The #NBAFinals start tonight! Look back at game 1 of the '98 Finals as we beat CHI 88-85 in OT!@AFCU #TBT - 6/3/98https://t.co/HbXboE3aaT

Thanks Hayley! Also if you wanted to watch this entire game -- it's available on YouTube.
(In 14 parts, but I've embedded the playlist up there there)
You may remember that 1998 was one of the few times where the team that won the first game lost the Finals. Very, very fishy.

If you are hungry for basketball, but don't want to see big stars crying for every call, the Utah Jazz are going to be hosting the Salt Lake City Summer League again . . . and you've got about four weeks of waiting time left. I really think this is a great opportunity to watch the Philadelphia 76ers, Boston Celtics, San Antonio Spurs and our guys. And it's really cheap!
Spend the 4th of July with us!

If you are in the #801 this is a great deal.

The summer circuit for our non-summer league guys have started already. How many of these Dukies can you name? Hopefully at least one: Rodney Hood.

And team leader Gordon Hayward is working hard on that "indoor child" tan.

What are YOU up to this June?

I love Andrei Kirilenko, but man, is this worse than his infamous picture of him with those wild pigs?
— Alexander Chernykh (@chernykh) May 31, 2016
Yeah, I needed to check out some vintage AK-47 after seeing that crazy Russian celebrity game picture, and I stumbled upon this video. It's creative, and very NSFW.
It doesn't have much to do with Andrei, but it's sadly not the worst AK-47 video you could possibly find on YouTube right now. That would be this one by TMZ Sports:
Horrible. At least there's some hilarious Andrei Kirilenko / Three Point Shooting commentary here in this Black Ops 1 video of a guy using a silenced AK-47 in multiplayer. (Also NSFW because it's a video game of shooting people and throwing grenades.)
But that's still not the AK-47 that we know and love. This throwback video of Andrei by JazzBasketball1? Yes. Yes it is.
He was truly a unique player and unique talent. And until Gordon Hayward makes an All-Star team, I think Andrei is going to be a better all-around player in my books.

Raul Neto recently put this out on the interwebs. What do you think about it?
