The Utah Jazz are in “get healthy” mode rather than “win every game” mode. That’s good and bad, depending on who you ask. The team has to get healthy because so many people are not. We check in on one player who is! Also, looking at the Logo, marveling at Karl Malone, making fun of LAL fans . . . and more!
The Utah Jazz play a Golden State Warriors team that is healthy and cruising to the playoffs. They recently got Kevin Durant back and will be looking for the season sweep. (Yes, Matt Barnes and Kevon Looney will not play, but Stephen Curry will also be back.) Quin Snyder is waiving the white flag already. So, uh. Expect a “great” recap for this one.
George Hill, Rodney Hood, Gordon Hayward, and Derrick Favors could all be out. That’s four out of five starters. Raul Neto is also out. Those guys have lost a lot of games this year. Hill (33), Hood (22), Hayward (8), Favors (31), and Neto (5). Neto and Hayward haven’t missed THAT much in the big picture, but they’ve been out at the same time as OTHER guys - so it’s been a force multiplier.
Out of the rotation guys who have missed the fewest games? Joe Ingles (0) and Rudy Gobert (1).
You know one guy who hasn’t been injured all season long besides Rudy Gobert and Joe Ingles? It’s the oldest guy on the team: Joe Johnson. The SLTRIB’s Aaron Falk went deep to find out some of his secrets:
Joe Johnson just reached 20,000 career points & says he's not even thinking about retirement yet. How he stays fit: https://t.co/QqVyNB2SNH pic.twitter.com/bnOJhGFMwn

It’s worth the read. If you are against reading there’s a 24 photo large gallery that goes with this article . . . you know . . . if you are into looking at sweaty fit people do hot yoga.
The Logo, er, I mean HOFer Jerry West feels as though that he doesn’t need to be “The Logo” anymore.

Jerry West isn't a fan of 'The Logo' nickname and wants the NBA to change the image. 'That’s just not who I am' https://t.co/i0LssSTgnm pic.twitter.com/FD3FUOwLjk

Jerry West, the man behind the silhouette, wants the NBA to change its logo. Any ideas? https://t.co/OSTUI0rkLp pic.twitter.com/t4gl8ke0mC

I disagree. But we’re getting to a point in time where we could update the logo. Sean Donahue has a great suggestion here:

It’s iconic and we like it. I don’t know if the rest of the NBA would want it, but that’s just because they are jealous of Karl Malone. And why wouldn’t other fans be? He’s one of a kind!

The NBA Playoffs are coming up, and that’s what we’re focused on. However, there are still 14 teams out there (in theory) who are getting hyped for the NBA Draft. One of those teams? The Los Angeles Lakers. Lakers fans are hilarious. Case in point:

Of course, the Lakers have won four straight games, and are now 25-55. They are 3.0 games “ahead” of the Philadelphia 76ers and Orlando Magic in terms of ping-pong balls. #TrustTheProcess (Click on that to go to the NBA Draft lotto Wiki page.)
The Lakers could lose out even if they retain a Top 3 seed for the Lotto. Right now the odds are .469 that they land Top 3, and .531 that they go four or below. That would be great if that happens. For more info on this developing situation visit TankaThon.com !
Of course, we all know that this is true though.
