Donovan Mitchell and the Utah Jazz may have been eliminated in the second round but that didn’t keep Mitchell from making it to the NBA Finals.

To interview players, that is.

Donovan was able to sit down with Kevin Love and Draymond Green and get their thoughts on influences in both basketball and life. It’s fun to see players interacting off court and it gives great insight into player personalities. More of this, NBA!

Both interviews are great and I recommend watching them both but I was legitimately surprised that Kevin Love knew the Jazz team motto of “The strength of the team is the team.”

This is a very obvious showing by Kevin Love that he is planning to join the Jazz, right? RIGHT!?!

Donovan Mitchell was also seen recruiting Steph Curry to the Utah Jazz on the sidelines. This appears to be the point when Curry agrees on Crown Burger after his first practice with the team.

Donovan Mitchell is so good that he will apparently fill all the roles for the Jazz eventually, including front office work.

Have the Utah Jazz made a draft promise to Kevin Huerter? According to Sports Illustrated, apparently so.

Jeremy Woo recently shared that Huerter has obtained a promise from a team drafting in the first round.

And according to the latest mock draft from SI (where they have the Jazz drafting Huerter) they believe it was from the Jazz.

Personally, I love the pick. Huerter looks like a red headed Kyle Korver to me and if there’s one thing the Jazz could use, it’s shooting.

The NBA Draft is just around the corner and the 2018 NBA Draft Hats were released.

As somewhat of a hat connoisseur, I think these are a lot of fun. I don’t know if I like the pin on top but the nice thing about pins is that they can be removed. My favorite part is definitely the patches on the side that are all related to team history and Utah.

Here is additional information from the New Era site.

Paying homage to each city, the Utah Jazz NBA Draft 9FIFTY Snapback features a team color fabrication with an embroidered Jazz logo at the front panels and the official NBA logo at the rear above a snapback closure. Adding to the inspiration is a team-inspired pin and a collection of merrowed edge patches of the city or state flag, date established, monogram mark and an alternate team logo at the right-wear side.

Extra points are also given for these being snapback because it is the superior form of the baseball cap and there is no further discussion needed on this topic.

According to Anfernee Simons, and Tony Jones, he’ll be coming to Utah for a draft workout soon.

Simons is an interesting prospect because of his upside. He’s one of the younger players in the draft and, because he was able to forgo college, one of the bigger question marks.

But he has a lot of physical tools and talent. You can bet that this will be a big workout for the Jazz to see Simons ability on their court with better talent. Could Simons be another late first round steal for the Jazz?

Donovan Mitchell was also featured on the Starters. There’s just never been a Jazz player that has gotten this much national buzz and excitement.
