Tonight the Utah Jazz lace them up against their division, and physical regional, rivals tonight -- the dastardly Denver Nuggets. This is also game two of the Jazz' super long three game home stand. Furthermore, this is a chance for the Jazz to break their four game losing streak. Life is tough without Dante Exum. And life became much harder without Rudy Gobert. And frankly, it was outright lugubrious without Joe Ingles. Joe should be back. Rodney Hood should be good to go. And thankfully, the Nuggets have some injuries of their own. They will be without lotto pick point guard Emmanuel Mudiay, combo forward Wilson Chandler, and Jusuf Nurkic is also out. Darrell Arthur is questionable. They've been off since Tuesday, and the Jazz last played on Wednesday.
It should be a good match-up. Particularly because we get to see Gordon Hayward against Danilo Gallinari, and Kenneth Faried against Derrick Favors. But I know all eyes will be on Trey Lyles and Mike Miller. Right? Hello? McFly? Did everyone go out this Friday night?
Denver is currently ahead of the Utah in the standings. Utah really needs this game. I hope they smarten up and get it.
