Tonight the Utah Jazz host the Memphis Grizzlies. Memphis, as we all know, is the historically significant city of the Pharaoh Menes. It was a seat of power for many dynasties, and is the final resting place of The King, Elvis Presley. During it's Golden age of craftsmen it was believed to be under the eternal protection of the very God of craftsmen, Ptah. One of the biggest reasons why Memphis grew so much and became so powerful was it's place at the head of the Nile river delta, where it is assumed many artisans first crafted the Nile river delta blues. Today Memphis is under the rule of Dave Joerger, and the city of the White Walls features Marc Gasol, Ryan Hollins, Jarell Martin, and Brandan Wright. So, not as white anymore.

Today the Grizzlies are an above .500 club, but are 27th in ORTG, and 17th in DRTG. In a direct comparison, the Jazz are 12th and 16th respectively. Of course, like anything dealing with our Jazz today we have to come to terms with injuries. Rudy Gobert is still out. Dante Exum is still out. Alec Burks is still out. And Derrick Favors is questionable. Utah isn't the only club playing without their full roster, though. For Memphis Matt Barnes is out with an NBA suspension (for his brutality towards Derek Fisher). Jordan Adams and Brandan Wright are also out. And James Ennis and Jarell Martin are both with their NBA D-League team. Of course, most of the best players for the Jazz are out, while most of the best players for the Girzz are in.

On paper this should be an easy win for Mike Conley, Zach Randolph, Courtney Lee, Jeff Green, Tony Allen, Mario Chalmers, and Gasol. It's going to be really up to Gordon Hayward, Rodney Hood, Trey Burke, Joe Ingles, Trevor Booker, and Jeff Withey to make something out of this one.

GO JAZZ GO!
