Philadelphia 76ers 51 - Utah Jazz 49: Halftime show

This is a trap game. This is not a drill!

NBA: Philadelphia 76ers at Utah Jazz Chris Nicoll-USA TODAY Sports

The Utah Jazz (19-13) are down at half to the lowly Philadelphia 76ers (7-23) by the mighty margin of 51-49. Utah is not playing well at all. They are 9/19 from the FT line (Philly only 2 attempts), and they have 8 turn overs to 11 total assists. At least the threes are falling (8/13) and Gordon Hayward is having an okay game. Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel are both getting whatever they want by going around Rudy Gobert and scoring. It’s . . . strange. Philly went on a 10-0 run to take control of the game in the last 2 minutes of the first quarter. And they held their own in the second tying the Jazz 27-27.

The second half is going to be interesting. Utah’s starting line-up is playing in this second game together this season, and they look rusty and out of synch.
