The Utah Jazz start the 2015-2016 season at the end of October, but before we get there we had to endure a summer off-season with only little hints of the team we would see when the season came around. In Summer League the Jazz got a chance to see Rodney Hood's progress, Trey Lyles' versatility, and sadly, only the briefest glimpses of Dante Exum's potential. In the FIBA tournaments the team got to see Rudy Gobert, Tibor Pleiss, and others do their things. Trey Lyles (and Olivier Hanlan) didn't play for Canada. Raul Neto did not play for Brazil. And Gordon Hayward (but not Trey Burke) did some work with Team USA. On social media from players and development sites we got to see Alec Burks and Rodney Hood return from injuries. Even more cool, we got to see the players be more than just players, as Joe Ingles and Trevor Booker both got married, and G-Time had a baby girl while Derrick Favors had twins! But the full picture doesn't come into frame until the games that matter tip off. The team currently has 20 players in camp (including the injured Dante), and there are a few position battles to worry about. But those are posts for another moment.
This is just the prelude!
