Utah Jazz talk with Phil Naessens on Armed Forces Radio, three shows in one post!

Talking with Phil in three podcasts, and looking at the progress the Jazz have made over the course of the season.

I'm talking with Phil Naessens (@FlashTennis31) a few times here (my bad, I forgot to upload these posts). It's good. It's free Jazz content for us content hungry Jazz fans!

October 29th, 2013 Show:

Talking about the Utah Jazz and the hours up to the Gordon Hayward contract extension bonanza. Obviously, we had to also talk about Derrick Favors and his extension. Of course, we also talk about the Utah Jazz opening the season at home against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Phoenix Suns, and the Houston Rockets. The preseason wasn't fun, but we like the idea of being a strong home team. It's funny to listen to how we felt about the Jazz, now weeks later when we see them starting the season 0-8. Listen to it here, or just down below!

November 5th, 2013 Show:

In this show we talk about how the Jazz season is going on, and, well, it's not easy to find bright spots. But we do. This was after the losses to OKC, PHX, and HOU. The Jazz were playing good basketball despite having injuries, and the Jazz were in each of these three games. We talk a bit more about Gordon Hayward (not extending him), Alec Burks (early scoring), and Enes Kanter (blossoming right now). The offense is bad, but the defense is decent. And that's also something to be happy about. Of course, we also touch up on the Jazz upcoming Eastern Conference road trip against the Brooklyn Nets, Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, and Toronto Raptors. As we remember from just living though it, it wasn't a fun trip for the Jazz. You can catch it all here, or just listen below.

In this weeks' show Phil and I talked about the Jazz 0-7 start to the season (yeesh), which is funny because we always have the Indy Cornrows guys on, and their team was 7-0 at this point in time too. The sad trombone comes out here early, but we had to keep talking about the good things we have seen so far this season despite all the early losses. I do think that it's important to build a frame of reference of where we are; and the sky is the limit. It's important to recognize Gordon Hayward's apotheosis as it happens. You can catch it all here, or just listen below.
