Last night I got a chance to talk with Phil Naessens (@FlashTennis31) about the resurgent Utah Jazz, the team that has won 3 of their last 5 games and looks to get better as the weeks go on. We talked about why the team is playing better, and effectively, it comes back to point guard Trey Burke. While Jamaal Tinsley, John Lucas III, and d-league call up Diante Garrett all have game, only Burke has NBA game at this stage.
We also talk about a disappointing season so far for Alec Burks, how good Gordon Hayward is, and what can we expect from the bigman combo of Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter. Furthermore we preview the surprising Portland Trail Blazers, and the key points of our upcoming game against them.
Check it all out at Phil's site here, or just click below. (My segment is the last segment today -- but great NBA talk all night long from other SB Nation people)
Also, if you are listening to his show, either directly or on Armed Forces Radio or internationally or whatever, fill out this short survey. It'll help make the show better. Thanks guys and gals!
